The Derwent Bar at Customs House Hotel is the first port of call after the famous Sydney to Hobart yacht race in December. Every year, at the end of December you can find sailors celebrating the finish of one of the world’s most well-known sailing events. As the saying goes “You haven’t finished the Sydney to Hobart until you’ve passed through Customs”.
We have 14 beers on tap including Cascade, Moo Brew and many local brewing houses. Ciders on tap include Willie Smith’s and Bonamy’s. We also offer more than 30 bottled varieties of beer and cider including both local and international brands.
Our extensive wine list features many Tasmanian wines including a Domaine A pinot noir from the Coal Valley region, Pipers Brook sparkling, and a crisp pinot gris from Bay of Fires. Our wine list contains upwards of 80 wines, making it a beautifully rounded beverage list, perfect for looking out over the river as the sun sets, watching the boats go by.
